i there i was given a whistle by my grandfather it is a 1938 it has an arrow on it and says bent and parker ltd and birmingham on it he was a fire station dispatch rider before the war i think this is were he got it from
i have no idear of value but it has great sentimentle value so wouldnt dream of selling it b ut wonderd if i needed to insure it in case it had value many thanks for reading

I found a Metropolitan Whistle left from my grandma that with stamp:

J. HUDSON & CO
BARR ST HOCKLEY
BIRMINGHAM

Couldn't find any number on it, is it an export version? Because my Grandma was a Chinese who lived in India in her early ages.

I would like to more about it. Thanks
