Card board whistle circa 1910, this was a premium for the Hoffmann Coffee.
I had categorized my cardboard whistles according to themes advertisments themes; of the day; Shoes, Textiles' cars, Bakery & Flour' Drinks , Music, Cleannig & Soap, Meat , and more, Other cardboard whistles that are toys or used for other purposes are very rarely met with.
Coffee premiums cardboards are uncommon and verysought after by collectors,
this one is one that is not as rare as some others,
It would be interesting to note that at that period unlike today ....
older people were used for advertisment.
