Exeptional antique round whistle, japan 江戸時代and a brass one.

Exeptional round whistle of rare beauty & design which reflects japanese style,

made of Deer horn, Edo period. 1603-1867 江戸時代

While the general look of the whistle has a look simmilar to Yates & British whistle makers the top and mouth piece have a    distinctive shape, the fippile is cut in sharp angles, typical to the very few round whistles I had a chance to see.
