Siren whistles with a Torpedo Shape were made in Germany & France 1890's
to 1939. All these whistles are rare and have a general shape of a torpedo but vary in size, inner mechanism, and construction, one feature which helps to distiguish between makers is the number of vent holes- windows at the top:
six or seven holes.
